DidjaTV is a Silicon Valley-based technology company that is bringing the ability for mobile users to make 30 second clips from "live TV" broadcast streams. The company launched its first mobile app called "Clippit" in Nov 2014. This app enables users to make clips from their favorite TV shows/moments and share them with their social graph on Facebook and Twitter. The company is in discussions with major TV networks and sports leagues to form revenue-sharing partnerships. These partnerships will enable networks and providers to have their content reach a broader social media audience (something they have been unable to do with TV audiences). As the world has become more social, users want to share all kinds of content with their friends on FaceBook, Twitter, YouTube etc. DidjaTV plans to monetize the clips created by users with the Clippit app and then in turn share these revenues with the broadcast owners of the underlying content. Clippit is available for download in Apple AppStore and in Google PlayStore.
